Sambath (Sam) Ouk is the Founder of Connected Education Consulting. Sam and his family survived the Cambodian Killing Fields and immigrated to the United States in 1982. Sam grew up in Rochester, Minnesota and went on to earn his Masters in English as a Second Language from Hamline University and his Principal's license from Saint Mary's University. Sam has 20 years of experience in k-12 education.
Akram Osman is a former refugee from Somalia. He is currently a practicing school administrator. From his experience as a refugee student to school principal, he has excellent knowledge on how to bridge the experience of refugee students to academic success.
Oleg is an immigrant from Ukraine to Minnesota. He has worked in the school system helping other refugee students. He has stayed connected with Ukraine over the years through service trips. His efforts continue to be critical in supporting Ukrainian students and refugees.
Montha immigrated to the US when she was a child from Cambodia. She grew up battling through economic challenges that are experienced by many first generation families. Today she is the founder of MN 8, an organization that fights to keep families together in light of deportation charges against immigrants from Southeast Asia.
